not a typical thriller, don't expect a mainstream movie

The main theme is rape. So it is not a film for entertainment only. It is sometimes hard stuff, in psychological sense. Is it worth to watch it? Yes, but take time.Conclusion: It is an exciting film with a serious background and a special fine end.

Nifty thriller

Emma (a fine performance by Mhairi Carey) finds herself stuck on a remote island with two men who she doesn't trust. Worse yet, the trio are being mercilessly hunted by three other very nasty men.Director Juliane Block relates the absorbing story at a constant pace, generates a good deal of tension, and makes nice use of the isolated tropical island setting. Both Tyron Ricketts as the ruthlessly determined Ben and Martin Kaps as selfish rich jerk Jamie do well in their roles. The surprise brutal twist at the end packs a vicious punch as well as makes a provocative statement about the ugly nature of revenge. A cool little flick.
