Few truly get to see their family.

An elderly lady meets a young man by chance. After this encounter, their shared love of art brings them together, and the young man begins to discover a talent and a passion for acting.Throughout the short film, the neglect of the elderly by the younger generation-even by their own families-is criticized, highlighting the dehumanization experienced by this group, which still has much more to offer than just an inheritance.

Lovely but uninspired

The dialogue and the acting even are a little performative, punctuating certain points a little too obviously. I mean there are absolutely no surprises with this story and the only delight is Miriam and the sets in that house. And her ramblings about old age. I hope she graces us with her loveliness for a long time.I'd think this is made for pre-teens as some sort of awareness campaign.

Phenomenal!

What a pleasure to watch this film is!Laughter, friendship, sadness and joy all in a wonderful short film, that leaves you wanting more!Miriam and Alistair play wonderful characters who you cannot help but fall in love with.A young man knocks at an older ladys door to retrieve his lost ball from her garden, she needs assistance opening a tin of prunes which leads to an a friendship, they enrich each others lives exponentially.....The cast of 4 makes up this delightful short and bring to life the fantastic story written and directed by Lee Knight. What a debut for him!!I cannot wait to see this again.
