Gunfighter's Deal Review

Excellent cowboy movie with a realistic story line that has plot twists that you wouldn't be expecting. The acting is superb especially Kevin Sorbo as well as Terry Kiser who plays the evil character. The bartender has a couple of jokes which are very funny and in good taste. The ending is unbelievable!

Seems people who live a certain hateful politics will lie.

It's bad. Really bad. Kevin has been left to doing conspiracy theory "reality shows" and buying scripts no one else would make. This is very much a script one else would make. Not even Tommy Wiseau would make this movie. It's a hackneyed story directed by someone who is there for a pay check and doesn't care if they get it and is the most amoral morality tale you could want. But it's getting positive reviews because Kevin has his political fans who don't care if a movie is good or not. I was subjected to this pabulum by one of them.

Slow Burn, But Worth Every Quiet Moment

Yes, the pacing is slow deliberately slow and I actually loved that. It gives every scene room to breathe. You feel the weight of every decision, every stare, every hesitation. It's a Western that trusts its audience to pick up the subtle cues. This slower rhythm doesn't just heighten the emotional depth, but also immerses you in the landscape, the weather, and the time period, making the experience feel more real, more lived-in. It's a film that rewards patience, and in doing so, it elevates the genre into something contemplative and richly nuanced.
