Plot summary

When Naima meets Damian after she moves to Nashville to uncover secrets about an undiscovered music group, they begin sharing their love for music and their desire to leave their respective marks on the world.

Please watch!

I'm an avid hallmark watcher. I love a formulaic movie. Most trip me up on stupidity but it doesn't stop me from enjoying them.I have to say this is one of my favorite hallmark movies ever, especially for a non-holiday movie.To be fair I love the 60s, especially the music. I was born in 1984 and did my senior thesis on pop music on Buddy Holly. But it was was so good. It wasn't the typical formula. Honestly at the get go I wasn't thrilled with the castin, and I'll be honest that it could have been better, but the script on this was superior to most. The music was great. The overall feel was great. I think of anything this movie faltered in the 90 minute time constraint. I wanted a bit more. Ok I wanted a lot more.Yes there were a few things that seemed silly. She is getting her doctorate and her idea is to write how black women back up singers in the 60s didn't make enough. NOVEL. That's not going to ear a doctorate. Also the first scene where she just sits down and starts explaining her doctorate and what she can do with it? Umm. Nothing. That could have been done better.However. Taken as a whole, this movie really has so much to offer and I'm so glad it was on demand and mad for normal viewers it wasn't hyped more.

A VERY VERY GOOD HALMMARK MOVIE

I was pleasantly surprised by this Hallmark movie. Great storyline and really good acting. Wasn't really drawn in by the title 'A Nashville Legacy' but decided to give the movie a try. So glad I did! One of the best Hallmark storylines I have seen in a while. The plot and the acting kept me interested. Lead actress, Andrea Lewis was exceptional. Pooch Hall and the rest of the star studded cast of Stan Shaw/Roz Ryan were really good as well. This is the Hallmark Feel Good Storyline that I haven't seen in awhile. Great writing and storyline! The ending was a tearjerker. Please watch. You won't be disappointed!

MUST SEE HALLMARK MOVIE

I have never really written a review for a movie but seeing how this one does not have one, I wanted one written. The Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Channel did a great job with this movie. This movie had it all mystery, love, music, and a great cast. I will not name them all but those that stood out were Pooch Hall, Andrea Lewis, Stan Shaw, and Roz Ryan. The visit to the record store with Tubby (Kevin Wayne) was a great add in to the story too. I will not give any spoilers but wish the original Daffodils singing group characters in the movie were all alive to see the ending. The only thing missing is a sequel, I do not know where they would go but it is a great cast.
