I liked that the romantic interest was refreshingly right up front and so much of the story is poignant, reminiscent of my youth and brought back wonderful positive memories growing up, choosing paths and overcoming obstacles. The positivity of the story was solid and had so many life-lifting shared situations to be quite worthy to the viewer. It was very relatable, unusual for too many movies recently that too often seem flimsy and cheap and miss the mark. I think some will consider it a bit sappy at times but to that I say live life to the fullest and embrace the full emotional journey.
