One rifle, A hand gun and Aknife

They show up with one rifle, a hand gun and a knife to take down a sex trafficking ring? You meant to tell me we invested all time to see them get caught and they show up acting like it's amateur hour at the apollo.Like huh? Acting was phenomenal but the writing sucked and was anti-climatic. How in the world does it end like that? You mean to tell me they leave AJ in the house for what seems like forever why they interrogate the girls? Amateur hour at its finest.Ummmm, sooo close to a damn great movie - when trying to break away from the mold goes wrong. This should have included more actions, his military buddies coming to assist, police being called - I mean hell Lola was supposed to be a crime boss surely she has another muscle or two to call. Then another great context was to give us more about the therapist. Just seems very under developed writing. All these damn characters and we got a child like crime mob boss who adds a good plot twist but again utilize all these other characters! Thought we were going somewhere with the boxing scene? Jordy? Stevie and his brother?Just random folks sprinkled throughout with random touchpoints.

black Taken

Former soldier LT (Tory Kittles) feels responsible for one of his men's death. When the guy's 12 year old daughter goes missing, LT sets off to find her, but runs into a dead end. It's one year later and he's a mess. Lola (Libe Barer) and her muscle AJ (Sarunas J. Jackson) comes looking for him. Her 12 year old cousin has been kidnapped but she can't go to the cops. She is the head of a drug crime family while her father is in prison.After the bar fight, I was expecting a black Taken. That's some good times. Suddenly, it's one year later and the pacing takes an unwelcome break. I would have wanted the tension to continue to ramp up. Lola is an interesting twist although I don't buy her as a drug kingpin. The movie turns back into Taken, now with a little girl as his partner. Once they get to the cabin, they would obviously call the cops. At the very least, LT would call all his military buddies. Some are bound to help. Also, I would have expected more firepower from this group.
