...could be

Hi; in my opinion, seems there are two main focuses in the plot. A personal problem of the main actor that was originated from a car accident when he was a child; possibly with parents death et all.Recurrent images of agony came over as shots in the film All these could create a darker environment for the viewer but not in this case due to all is centered "now" with the person as a young man where resides the other focus of the movie that is that he have a girlfriend and a possible other one.He has a job in what he like and the boss is cool with him Girlfriend too but he remains distant always. One impression is that no matter how good or nicer people or Life could be, if you have internal demons that are crush on you in daily basis, you cannot escape from them and the agony to fight have a roll that do not let you have empathy with the Life around.Acting just Ok; Digital filming.

Slow Moving But Not Bad

I bought this in Tokyo, as it had English subtitles (not many films bought in Japan do). I had no idea what it was about. Its about a dj named Richio (Arata) who is disfigured somewhat around the eyes. He is dating paced Akemi (Kumiko Aso), but their relationship seems to be somewhat casual. Ameki's younger sister Konomi (the very pretty Aoi Miyazaki) has an affair with Richio. What follows is a very dramatic, sometimes languid drama, but at least the characters are well played. It is so real life, you feel you're watching a live cam of these people. The cinematography is very good, but there are a few disturbing images in the film. The opening scene has a younger Richio looking at a boy who is hanging by a rope from a tree. Not essential viewing, it nevertheless did not cause me to hit the fast forward or stop button. So, I guess that is an endorsement, albeit not a very enthusiastic one.
