Plot summary

Heroes of Fort Worth

At least until a pretty Indian girl named Amanda (Monica Randall) catches his eye. Then there's a question of the pretty saloon singer named Nelly (Ida Galli). Could she really be a Confederate spy?Heroes of Fort Worth is quite an entertaining cavalry western that harks back to the 1950's - with its light approach and colour, it reminds me of a comic. It's sort of breezy in parts, a little talky ( some dubbed English is amusing), a little goofy, campy, but fun. The action is quite good, though a little shaky. I liked some of the humour especially the bit where a lady in the Stagecoach who, after some male passengers and bandits get shot, indifferently tells the Jehu that he should move along as the men are dead. Edmund Purdom is another funny character who chats too much. There's enough twist and turns, great scenery, camerawork and a nice showdown at the end.

Good sets and photography, insultingly-dismal plot

One dull evening I found this film on YouTube and started watching it, realising after a few minutes that I'd previously tried to watch the first minutes before giving up. This time I lasted an hour.The "Sugar" character was annoying and the female interest the most unconvincing I've ever seen, as was the plot.The only redeeming points were good sets and scenery and excellent photography - all wasted on this production.
