Plot summary

The newest entry in the Axegrinder series. Freddy Palmer is dead. Again. But not for long. When a group of goth girls go away to the beach they run into more than ex boyfriends and ex best friends. Freddy wakes up and cuts through everyone in his path.

Cinema died with this

I knew from the very beginning that "Axegrinder 666" wouldn't be the title of a Tarkovsky masterpiece, but, I was curious about how bad it could be, and, it amazed me.It's not just poorly executed in every possible aspect a movie can be poorly executed; poorly written, poorly recorded, poorly edited, poorly acted, and a long etcetera. Which, overall, makes it very funny and corny. Corbin character is hilarious. Extra exposition from part of the characters makes it funnier. And, gothic women are an absolute yes.I really loved Patricia C. Rodríguez and Stephanie Ward. They're smoking hot and made this movie worthy to watch.

Why kill me?

Freddy Palmer (Shawn Uebele) is brought back to life by a ritual spilling blood on his grave. He was apparently buried with his axe which was revived too. His name is an homage to Freddy Kruger and Betsy Palmer. At the same time four goth girls go to the lake shore near his grave so Kali (Stephanie Ward) can get away from her cheating boyfriend (Jameson Duross) who cheated with Kali's best friend Sable (Cara Fay). Except they are there too. It isn't long before they run into Freddy who picks them off one by one.The acting and dialogue are on the campy side. Writer Mark Joseph Peek wrote a minor role for himself as Ben Benson. Lots of blood and gore that was not done well.Guide: F-word. Sex.
