Just don't

Overlooked the low production quality at first because it seemed like it may have been a unique concept for a movie, but the plot ended up making no sense at all. The writing was not good, and the acting wasn't good either. Not a single jump scare was actually scary.Music was awful, particularly at a point where the husband is supposed to be listening to something the wife had made and then referred to it as dark and haunting when it was like this weird electronic stuff? It made me and my wife burst out laughing actually. It just didn't fit how he described it at all.They got pretty repetitive with the whole "oh it's her, it's her-it's not actually her though" bit.Overall this seemed like a student film. Not worth the time unless you feel like chatting about what's wrong with the movie the entire time.

Updated my review after a re-watch: Its much better!

I liked the idea for this film. Resurrection of a loved one is a fairly popular theme recently with "Baghead", and an "Unquiet Grave" and others being produced.At first watch, I didn't get it. I thought the film was disjointed and about 20 minutes too long.Upon re-watch, I understand the story now. The key to this film is the exposition in the home of "Al", the man who supplies the "bag' to Matt, the man who wants a cure for his wife, Claire. Pay attention to this conversation (and revelation) and you will understand the story better!Basically, a husband attempts to use a questionable ritual involving a full burlap bag to cure his wife of cancer. There are rules to follow, which are violated by him and others, but he gets what he wanted . . . Here are consequences to his wish, and I think it means people must die.There are many scenes of delusion, dreams, hallucinations, and apparitions for the husband. This might be a problem because they only serve to confuse the viewer and the effect wears thin after the first few appearances. I think less is more here.I liked it, but it took some review and much thought to figure out the story. It's a good film!
