Plot summary

Jacopo, Duke, and Lenka wake up in the apartment Lenka shares with her roommate Elizabeth to find Elizabeth mysteriously murdered. None of the three has any memory of what happened and they spend a drug-fueled day finding clues and piecing the event together.

Painfully Bad

This is meant to be a throwback to the old school exploitation horror tropes, but the story makes very little sense and there's not a single character to root for. Every actor is playing one-note hysteria the entire time and it gets annoying very quickly. If you're into nudity, you'll be delighted to hear that just about every character, both male and female, wears clothes for only about 5 minutes of the runtime, but it's not offering much more than that.

Could be worse.

Usually directors coming back after such a long break looses a lot of their touch but this isn't the absolute worst case about it. It's shot relatively well and there's surprisingly no usages of CGi gore(looking at you Dario) and the t & a is nice. However the story and dialog suffer the most even for genre film standard and it does have long stretches of boring "whodunnit" moments. I would only recommend this if you're so ever curious or have no better use of your time, otherwise, seek other sleaze gore fest. 4.5/10.
