It's always a delight to watch Trine Dyrholm perform. And in this film, she has plenty to offer: raw emotions, physical transformation and cultivated poise. This story, a very subdued drama, is about a familiy torn apart on different levels. Watching Dyrholm act is like watching a real life drama unfolding in front of your eyes. The whole cast gives a stellar perfomance.'Beginners' is all about show, don't tell. Jeanette Nordahl's observations are spot on, and she gives us the whole range from rage to laughter.
