One of the most awful films I've ever seen

This film is a thoroughly disappointing and frustrating experience, marked by a lack of creativity, cohesion, and engagement. From the very beginning, it struggles to establish a coherent narrative or meaningful story arc. The plot is disjointed, moving erratically from one scene to another without any clear motivation or purpose. Viewers are left confused about what the film is attempting to achieve, as the storyline offers no compelling direction or sense of tension. The pacing is uneven, with long stretches that feel stagnant, failing to develop either characters or narrative in a satisfying way.The casting choices are similarly problematic. Performances are flat and uninspired, with none of the actors managing to bring depth or believability to their roles. Character interactions are awkward and unconvincing, making it difficult for the audience to form any connection or care about the outcomes. The film's attempts at drama or tension feel forced and ultimately ineffective, further contributing to the sense that it is directionless and incomplete. From a creative standpoint, the movie does little to engage or impress. There are no memorable sequences, visual creativity, or narrative ingenuity to redeem its shortcomings. Even moments that might have hinted at potential are squandered by poor execution. Scenes that could have provided intrigue or excitement instead fall flat, and the overall experience is monotonous and unmemorable.Technically, the film lacks polish. The cinematography, editing, and general production design feel haphazard, reflecting a lack of cohesive vision from the director. It's clear that little thought was given to maintaining tone, atmosphere, or continuity, leaving the film feeling amateurish despite any potential in its premise.Ultimately, this is a film that fails on nearly every level. It cannot hold the audience's attention, the characters are unrelatable, and the story lacks both structure and impact. While some bad films have redeeming qualities or glimpses of creativity, this one is forgettable and offers no reason to invest time in watching it. It's a complete cinematic misfire, lacking the elements that would make it entertaining, thought-provoking, or even passably engaging.

I literally didn't knowing what I was in for here when I opted to sit down and watch director Mehran C. Torgoley's 2025 horror movie "Behold!". All I knew about the movie was that it was a horror movie that I hadn't already seen. And that was essentially all that was needed for me to give the movie a fair chance.Writers Llana Barron and Mehran C. Torgoley delivered a script and storyline that utterly failed to entertain me. I was under the impression that I was in for a horror movie when I sat down to watch "Behold!" and the movie's cover certainly also implied that it was a horror movie. But this was Christian-themed drama with some light supernatural elements, and a boring one at that.I was not familiar with a single actor or actress on the cast list. And that was actually something that spoke in favor of the movie, as I do enjoy watching unfamiliar and new talents on the screen. Despite the fact that the script was utter rubbish, then I will be honest and say that the acting performances were fair.Do not sit down and squander 96 minutes on watching "Behold!". Some of us virtually suffered through this travesty of a movie so you don't have to; you're quite welcome. And this is definitely not a movie that will ever find its way back to my screen a second time.My rating of director Mehran C. Torgoley's 2025 movie "Behold!" lands on a very, very generous two out of ten stars.

Creepy, unique plot that keeps you guessing!

As someone else mentioned, there are SO many bad horror movies and this is NOT one of them! I think religious-themed movies are extra creepy, and this one definitely had some unexpected surprises. The beginning slowly introduces you to the characters and situation, and then it really picks up in the second half. Definitely worth a watch!
