Plot summary

The leaves have started to change, but Professor Jonathan Rust is still woefully ill prepared for the coming semester. With the help of a fellow professor, his teaching assistant, an old friend and a hired hand, the team searches for a suitable dig site for the archeology department's field work. The expedition is quickly derailed when a member of the team mysteriously vanishes.

Into the Woods

Drop into this cerebral ride with no context, and it will reward you. Indie filmmaking at it's best.Great performances, solid production and a grounded world. The woods feel vast yet claustrophobic, calming yet distressing, ancient, but outside of time.Some talent to watch for sure, both in front of the camera, and behind the scenes.Looking forward to more.

Worth the watch!

Kept me on the edge of my seat for the length of the film! The lighting for this movie was great, all while being filmed outdoors too, which was something I appreciated. Very cool story/concept as well, touching on aspects of cosmic horror, isolation, and insanity. There was a surprisingly amount of humor as well, which complimented the seriousness at times. Definitely recommend this to cosmic horror fans!
