Plot summary

Records the battle for the survival of the big cats and reveals intimate details of their lives. The animals they prey on are also in the film: tigers couldn’t survive without sika deer, Altai wapiti, wild boars and Asian black bears. Guiding the viewer through the film, an elder tiger tells the story of his cub, born in a conservation area, the year after he leaves his mother.

Not for children, even if it's on disney

We found out the hard way that this is not appropriate for children, my 8 and 13 year old were traumatized. When the 1920s hunting pictures popped they understood because it's educational, we learn from our mistakes... However the tiger rugs, bloody tigers, and dogs, missing heads and other horribly graphic photos like my child burst into tears and is convinced any animal documentaries are evil and kill animals and thank you for thatNow I need to kill enough characters so that I can post this review on Disney Russia's wild tiger, just so everyone knows the India one, and on the rise tiger documentary is very mild for children.

Seriously?

Never would I think an animal documentary be unwatchable but somehow it's been done. The narration over this is violating. Whoever green lit this should be sacked, this is beautiful footage of tigers that has to be watched on mute. But not only that but how this doc has been put together throughout. How this hasn't been nuked in every fashion proves why they believe they can put this weird garbage out like this to the public. At first I thought it might've been tailored to very small kids under 7 but those graphic images of the tigers being hunted and killed at the very beginning of the documentary ruins that on top of TV-14 rating which I thought had to be a mistake, wrong. But mostly Salvatore Vecchio...
