Just seen this in Sheffield. Well made doc about an artist who was very engaging. Articulate, funny and told the story without lapsing into self indulgence so we got the true feelings. Had forgotten how gorgeous he was and great to see the snarl. Some lovely reveals. Whatever you currently feel about Billy, I'd recommend it as a story you'll fall for. Hadn't realised how huge he was in the USA. Interesting to see how much the agents and managers partied with the stars. Was nice that his Mum had a voice in the film. Shame that his film career didn't take off as he's a born actor. Maybe it's not too late.
