Different but same

Actually not same as identical - no pun intended. We do have a different actress slipping into (and out of) the Emanuelle skin ... well you know what I mean. And her body is quite ... well she was gifted with some big and beautiful assets (I think would be the political correct term).Though I am not sure political correctness is something you'll find much of in the Black Emanuelle series ... I was surprised Gemser is not back for this one - I am certain I will see more of her (well she was completely naked in the first one, but you know what I mean) in the upcoming movies ... though not sure I am too eager to revisit anytime soon ... time will tell.This has a spin with the clinic and the therapy the character has to go through ... take that with a grain of salt ... or pill (likely a placebo). This has no explicit scene in the regular version (the first one had one), but like the first one had some X-rated scenes added ... to spice things up. I assume like in the first one, the actors and actresses were not made aware of (the ones that were doubled by hardcore actors that is) ... make of this what you will ... the story is decent I reckon ... still nothing that comes close ... to the original Emmanuelle yet (the missing m aside - for legal reasons as you may expect)

Black Emmanuelle 2 is an entertaining watch for what it is, though it falls short of the original.

I recently watched Black Emmanuelle 2 (1976) on a random streaming service. The storyline follows a model suffering from memory loss. She consults a doctor to help recover her memories, who also interviews her friends and family. However, Emmanuelle's recollections don't always align with those around her. Who's telling the truth, and why would someone lie?Directed by Bitto Albertini (Yellow Emmanuelle), the film stars Angelo Infanti (The Godfather), Dagmar Lassander (Devil Fish), Pietro Torrisi (Popeye), and Attilio Dottesio (The Vengeance of Ursus).This is exactly what you'd expect. The plot isn't much, but it does hint at some intriguing twists. The standout here is the stunning cast. Julie Margo (Baby Cat) is particularly gorgeous, and the ladies in this sequel surpass the first film in terms of looks. The 70s attire, makeup, and hairstyles add to the fun.In conclusion, Black Emmanuelle 2 is an entertaining watch for what it is, though it falls short of the original. I'd rate it 6/10 and recommend it only with the right expectations.
