Needless to say that I had never even heard about this 2025 thriller titled "Blood Badge" prior to stumbling upon it by random chance here in 2026. And since I had not already seen the movie before, of course I opted to check it out.The storyline in "Blood Badge" was pretty bad. The writing in the movie was pretty laughable and bad. It felt like it was written by a young adult just starting in some film class. The dialogue was garbage and the events in the movie were pretty poorly written and scripted. I am sure that this looked and felt good on script, but translated to the screen, well, not so good.The acting performances in the movie left much to be desired. It wasn't exactly steller performances, but at least they were not amateurishly bad. One thing that worked in favor of the movie, was that I wasn't familiar with a single actor or actress on the cast list.Running at a mere 54 minutes, at least the ordeal was pretty quickly over. But there was very little entertainment value in the movie. Most definitely not a movie that I will ever watch a second time, nor recommend for anyone to rush out and get to watch.My rating of director Colin Bressler's 2025 thriller "Blood Badge" lands on very generous three out of ten stars.
