Oh great, a movie from The Asylum, and that doesn't exactly speak in favor of the movie, as The Asylum isn't exactly known for a track record of stellar movies. But still, since it was a movie that I had neither heard about nor watched, of course I opted to give the movie a fair chance.Writer Scott Mullen didn't exactly pen a script and storyline that initially really didn't proved particularly entertaining to me. The contents of the narrative was pretty dull. And it was a bit of a struggle to sit through this movie. But once you make it past the halfway marker, the movie does start to pick up. Now, don't get your hopes up, because it was not like the movie went from sluggish to super sonic.I actually don't think I was familiar with a single actress or actor on the cast list, which was something that worked in favor of the movie. The acting performances in the movie were fair enough.The production level in the movie was good, which certainly counted for something. But this was not an outstanding movie in any way, and not a movie that I will ever return to watch a second time.My rating of director Kenny Blank's 2020 movie "Blood on Her Badge" lands on a generous four out of ten stars.
