I really wanted to like this one, but it just fails in so many areas.While the environment is charming and interesting and the basic plot is somewhat interesting (if simplistic), the storytelling leaves a great deal to be desired. This is another one of those shows in which it seems the director / writers expect the audience to read their minds and figure out what they're thinking.They regularly provide poorly-designed "clues" (yeah, time-warp area, we get it from the first few minutes onward)... but those clues really don't lead much of anywhere. The result is a confused blob of mini-plots that have no closure or resolution, which greatly detracts from the show overall.The acting is limited by the nearly non-existent storyline, with 2-dimensional characters that lack any depth. Add to this mix the concept that they seem to consider two 23-minute episodes a "season"... and it would seem the production company is more out of touch with reality than the almost-plot.
