When you have an idea for a movie, but have to restrict to filming inside a warehouse...

Sure, without knowing what I was in for here, as I stumbled upon the 2025 movie "Catalyst" by random chance, I opted to watch the movie, solely because it was a movie that I hadn't already seen. I virtually had no idea what I was in for, except whatever little information was provided by the movie's synopsis.Writers David Bianchi, Christopher Folkens and Enrico Natale put together a rather simplistic and somewhat ridiculous storyline and narrative. It was so simplistic and laughable that it provided me with very little entertainment. And the fact that most of the movie was filmed inside a single warehouse unit or something, really didn't add to the overall enjoyment of the movie. There wasn't a lot of familiar faces on the cast list for me, I was actually only familiar with Noel Gugliemi and Patrick Kilpatrick. While the script was absolute rubbish, then the acting performances in the movie were fair. This movie was bad, oh so very, very bad. And I cannot think of a single reason why I would recommend you to waste 96 minutes on watching it. Trust me, this is not worth the effort. And it is definitely not a movie that I will ever return to a second time.My rating of director Christopher Folkens's 2025 movie "Catalyst" lands on a generous two out of ten stars.

boring

In the not too distant future, the world is falling apart. America is recovering after a Civil War. The mysterious Collective is kidnapping people who are never to be seen again. Alek O'Connor (Michael Roark) is their latest victim. Seven men have been taken and being judged. This is trying to be Saw or 12 Angry Men or a smaller film like Death and the Maiden. Only none of this is working. I was interested initially. Soon enough, I'm lost with these characters and their stories. I don't really care about any of them. They're stuck in that warehouse and it's not interesting. This movie's greatest sin is that it's boring.

Hidden Christian Flick, pretty clear by halfway through. Horrible writing, boring AF.

Yeah, very clearly a Christian flick with the 10 star reviews posted by dedicated members of the flock. Repent now. Fight for God's world.kill for peace and justice. Wake up, this is the messenger speaking, you have been chosen. And that's pretty much it. I don't mind Christian flicks but these hidden ones are pretty disingenuous.Yeah, very clearly a Christian flick with the 10 star reviews posted by dedicated members of the flock. Repent now.
