Beautiful Vienna Scenery! Better than Average Story

Just Enjoy.First. There are two movies by this name. Some of the reviews and ratings here are for the other movie, bringing the rating down.Second. Early on, Amy's brother, Daniel, explains that while is in Vienna, he ha hired someone to search his biological family. He is adopted, a fact that passed by a reviewer not listening early on.Third, it is sad that Christian Oliver died 5 years after making this movie tin a plane crash. He was perfect for the leading man role, having the looks and natural German accent.The ballroom dancing is beautiful.,Any criticisms are from grumpy curmudgeons Christmas movies are always ones that stretch credulity. This one is no exception. But, there are many Vienna balls in the season. Christmas markets are beautiful in all of central Europe, Vienna included. And if your boyfriend intruduces his other girlfriend implyinh he wants a threesome when you were expecting a marriage propoasal, then it isn't far-fetched to go off for a European vacation over the holidays. And, Austria is a country that hasn't outlawed nobility and some have moved there to keep herdiitary title is use. Lukas (Oliver) downplays this aspect and is charming.I found Amy to be a bit annoying at times but not as much as the female leads are in most of these movies. I wish the producers and writers would stop this kind of quick reaction, misconception, apology kind of plots.

Boring and not filmed well

I was really excited to watch this movie but immediately within the first couple of scenes I noticed there was some issues with the audio. I thought it was my device but it's the same on every device I watch it on. It's not that the mouths don't match up but it sounds like they were added after and not well. There's also many scenes when they're dancing that you can hear a microphone rubbing up against clothing. Besides that the storyline was blah, I probably won't watch this again or recommend it to anyone.

This has got to be one of the worst attempts at a movie out there

Badly written Badly acted The only good things its got for it is the classical music and that it is a christmas movieMost christmas movies(Hallmark, I am looking at you) are corny, they do not have original stories(There are exceptions of course) but they have some charm, they add just a bit of whatever to make them just slightly different, and the acting makes them uniqueThis has nothing of what makes the Hallmark movies enjoyable(I actually confused this one with the Hallmark one, which is why I saw it)The writing is abysmal, like if it was written by someone that does not speak english without any proofreading, there are a lot of little details(Like the uncle is his uncle but not hers? I mean, we could think "Step brothers" but it is implied they are not step) and... well, pretty much everything else, just nonsensical lines and actions.The acting is like watching that 90's cartoon action league... they are stiff, without passion, without any real acting at all, delivering blandly on screen.It is a trainwreck of an attempt that was really disappointing.
