It's a C-movie

I saw Consequence on DVD. I 've heard that is was an HBO-film. Thinking of the wonderful TV-series they 've made, I thought this could be a good movie. But no. It's a film drowned in clichés, with bad acting and a predictable plot. Almost everything you see is stolen from others movies, even the Herbie-films. Assante is the master of the B-movie. But even he can't rescue this kind of s**t. The change of identity of the Assante-character in the beginning gives away the plot. All the plot twists later on are forced into the screenplay. Although its very violent it's more a movie for young teenagers. This can't be taken serious, if you are a serious film fan. CIA-agents shooting at a Volkswagen in the middle of a square full of people. Can''t believe they do a thing like that. So forget Consequence. It's a C-movie.

Horrible Movie!

Seemingly intended to be a thriller of a movie winds up being almost laughable. It prompted me to exclaim "Oh my God!" more than once at the convoluted contrivances of plot that were just plain silly. Fanciful or absurd locations just for the sheer novelty or dramatic situation and improbable, near impossible, human reactions and circumstances are too much to be comprehended as to why they exist.If you have the time and wish to discover just how bad a picture can be then you will want to see this one. Otherwise dedicate some time into watching some paint dry for a more productive investment of time!(That a film released in 2003 is already being shown on TV in July 2003 might give an indication of the film's quality)
