The story of this film really resonated with me. So much so, that I felt like I had to give this movie a full review.
To start off, I instantly connected with the character of Craig. I know how hard it can be to switch to a new home and adapt living to a new neighborhood, so I can always relate with the characters, who have gone through a similiar experience in movies (Fe. The character of Max in "Hocus Pocus" and Riley from "Inside Out").
And the overarching story of the film, involving Craig meeting his new friends (Kelsey and J. P.) who are ofc. Included in the show "Craig of the Creek" as well. And him having to come to terms with his new home and getting to first experience the Creek is just great to watch.
Also the pirates in this movie are really fun and the pirate captain Serena (who serves as the main antagonist of the film) gets a lot of nice character development in the film.
So yeah, I think it's fair to say I loved "Craig Before the Creek". It hit all the right notes for me. Not only will it please veteran fans of the series', but it also serves as an excellent entry point to the series' for newcomers.

Ok Ok, So So...
A wonderful introduction
Emotionally satisfying
The story of this film really resonated with me. And I felt like I wanted to give my review of this film.
For starters, I instantly connected with the character of Craig. I know how hard it can be to move to a new home and adapt living to a new neighborhood, so I can always relate with the characters, who have to go through that in films (Liloe the character of Max in "Hocus Pocus" and Roley in "Inside Out").
And the overarching story of the film, involving Craig meeting his new friends (Kelsey and J. Also the pirates in this movie are really fun and the pirate captain Serena (who serves as the main antagonist of the film) gets a lot of great character development in the film.
