Plot summary

The surrounding areas of the Devil's Sea is also known as the Bermuda Triangle of Asia. Due to electromagnetic interference, aviation accidents are common in the region. Lin Hao and his daughter Yi are passengers of Flight GZ261. As it flies over the Devil's Sea, the plane malfunctions, causing an emergency landing on a crocodile island. Hao and other driving passengers encounter enormous sized crocodiles and spiders and engages in a battle for survival. When Yi is captured by the giant beasts, Hao fights for his life to rescue her daughter.

A Thrilling Yet Predictable Creature Feature

"Crocodile Island" is a real thrill ride of survival, relentless in its pace and steeped in action of high order. The exotic locale, impressively backed up with special effects, brings alive the dangers of the titular island, making its encounters with its reptilian occupants really terrifying. While the plot may rely on familiar tropes-and the characters are perhaps a little thin-such is the sheer intensity of the peril they face that these deficiencies are more than made up for. The cast, led by Gallen Lo and Eva Huang, do a sterling job capturing the desperation and resilience needed to survive in such a treacherous landscape. While "Crocodile Island" lacks on several levels regarding deep thoughts or originality, the creature feature fans do get an exciting ride.

decent if you like monster/adventure films

I think the other x2 1 star reviews are a bit unfair, i was quite pleasently suprised with this film, sure its not the best film ever, but if your watching a film called crocodile island about a giant crocodile, your not going to be getting oscar winning acting or writing etc, its a film about a giant crocodile and some other critters, and people stuck on the island, the effects range from pretty good to not so great, but if your like me and you like monster films of all kinds, you will find some enjoyment here
