Needless to say that I had, of course, never even heard about this 2018 action movie titled "Crossed Lines" prior to stumbling upon it by random chance. And with it being a movie that I hadn't already seen, of course I opted to give it a fair chance. Though, I weren't really harboring any grand expectations.The storyline in the movie was fairly straightforward and entertaining enough for what it turned out to be. Though writer Courtney G. Jones, whom also directed the movie, hardly delivered an outstanding movie experience here.Never seen people show up to a fight with a spoon, spatula and a ladle. Seriously? What was writer Courtney G. Jones thinking here?One thing that certainly worked in favor of the movie was the fact that I wasn't familiar with a single actress or actor on the cast list. The acting performances in the movie were fair.There were some fair enough action sequences, but they were too few and far in between.Watchable for what it was, just don't go expecting a stellar movie here. Though it is hardly a movie that warrants more than a single viewing.My rating of writer and director Courtney G. Jones's 2018 movie "Crossed Lines" lands on a four out of ten stars.
