An old story but with ageless hope

Like King Solomon said, there is nothing new under the sun. But thank the True Lord God, He offers us His redemption & forgiveness for all who fallen humans for those who receive His eternal Truth and Grace thru His Son Jesus. Though you can quickly tell the movie is, what this young generation would call dated, the movie was a good wholesome Christian made movie. Much better than many, because Christian movies couldn't knock themselves out with a multimillion $$ budget to "entertain" people in order to draw the crowds. This is not "old time religion" but about the only God who truly loves us & washes away the sins that only destroy us when we try to live without Him. As old as this earth is, mankind still has never found a way by itself to escape our cycle of sin & death. Except that God entered into our world to give us the way out that only a supernatural & pure Holy God without one tiny drop of sin & evil, could do.

Ft. Billy Graham and his crusades ...

This movie carries a very good message of salvation after a near-divorce and a near-death. It shows us what years of drifting away from THEOS can do and that in such circumstances only dramatic events can change the course of death into life.But this movie is sadly also a very negative surprise. I had previously deleted all movies produced by James F. Collier, but somehow missed this and had my first dose of a mini-sermon of Billy Graham towards the end of the movie, as earlier hinted at through 2 short dialogues. Knowing of the evil nature of Graham, I was all the more surprised how he perfectly matches the description of the Bible, precisely as an 'Angel of Light'. A perfect masquerade, eloquence and charisma. Everything that makes Satan as good as he is in deceiving people. I now better understand why so many people fell for him and had been drawn into the arms of the Catholic church & the Southern Baptist Convention.Please study the discernment of this person.About the producer: James F. Collier was sort of Billy Graham's right hand in the movie industry (Collier was also a Presbyterian; he produced from the late 1950s - 1988 for Billy Graham's World Wide Pictures; Caught, Cry from the Mountain, For Pete's Sake!, Time to Run, Joni, The Hiding Place, The Prodigal ...).
