This documentary provides a moving and complex portrait of Dwyane Wade, following his path from a difficult upbringing in Chicago to NBA fame and beyond. The documentary is less of a sports biography and more of a meditation on resiliency and reinvention because it focuses more on Wade's inner development-his challenges with family, parenthood, and identity-while touching on his athletic accomplishments. Director Bob Metelus weave's themes of forgiveness, celebrity, and vulnerability into a story that is emotionally complex yet somewhat aimless. Even while it occasionally forgoes depth in favor of breadth, it's an engaging watch for those who are interested in the guy behind the jersey.

Best documentary I have ever seen. Dwyane Wade is the second best shooting guard of all time.
