Who was wrong there?

The whole movie is based on a cliché that AI is dangerous to humans. The principal character is a popular writer which after tragic death of her son have lost ability to write anymore. One of her admirers, a psychologist invited her to enter a research facility an participate in program involving AI assistants helping creative people develop their own skills and train the AI in the process. The writer, at a tip from another program participant, becomes increasingly uneasy and, eventually, paranoic about the interaction process between her and the AI. Even though there is no evidence of any evil intentions on the part of AI and the facility personnel she becomes aggressive. The background of the plot is about severely hot weather in Paris and fast spreading infection such that everyone must follow certain safety procedures, which AI must also enforce by not allowing her to get out of the room w/o proper checking that she is not infected. The only problem happened because apparent hacker attempts to disrupt the AI and the facility operation. All this increased tension and pressure on her already shaken personality. The AI in my view was extremely cooperative and trying to help and resolve this human person internal conflicts and help her return to writing. The AI, eventually started to write parts and new unfinished novel itself based on the training that it got by interacting with the writer. What is wrong about that? The movie shows how moody, unstable and arrogant humans can become unreasonable as compared to the AI.

Who's afraid of Virginia Woolf ?

Clarissa, a novelist suffering from writer's block, joins a prestigious, state-of-the-art artists' residency. She finds support and even a confidante in Dalloway, her virtual assistant, who helps her write. But little by little, Clarissa grows uneasy about her AI's increasingly intrusive behavior, a situation exacerbated by the conspiratorial warnings of another resident. Feeling watched, Clarissa secretly launches an investigation to uncover the truth. This sci-fi movie -rare genre in the French cinema- met mixed critical reception but it really deserves to be watched .Clarissa's subject is to depict the last days of writer Virginia Woolf ( the fact that her AI is called "Dalloway" is no coincidence) before her suicide ; but her own son Lucas did the same and she was never able to get over it (how could she?) Her AI "Dalloway " ,little by little , begins to get into her brain and she becomes paranoiac ; the other resident's warning is a cliché ,a recurrent feature of this kind of thriller ;the outside world with its drones , will remind you of too many screenplays ,and obviously ,of Orwell' s "1984"; the dialogue with Dalloway sometimes makes you think of Hal and David Bowman ; so objections remains .But Cécile de France is a good actress ,and she's convincing as this writer lost in a world who begins to "assimilate " her (check the percentages) ; there's a good atmosphere and Anna Mouglalis's attitude and mainly her deep voice have a chilling way about her ; the last picture has something of Jorge Luis Borgès "'the circular ruins" in "ficciones "
