Dancing musical

I know this is a 2014 movie I think I washed it in 2014 I think I liked it back then but I just watched it recently and man the acting is bad it's supposed to be sort of a comedy I do believe it has big actors and actresses in it, I have seen them in different movies nowadays 2024-2022 2023 and so on.Literally had to make myself watch this cuz I started watching it and wondered why I was watching it again I won't be watching it anytime soon probably never again I like the dancing that's why I like it and the music and the fact again it's a 2014 movie it would be more for high school kids maybe back in the 80s watching this I don't know I don't want to give a bad review because I like the people that were in it, it just was kind of boring.

Had potential but somewhat flopped in the end

The acting and the plot were somewhat lackluster. I wondered at times what genre of film I was watching and found myself confused as the story skipped over many details that could of really improved the movie. However, I was shocked at how good the dancers were. The dance shots were beautiful and somewhat made up for the fact that the story left me with so many questions. A good watch if you need something light with some nice visuals.
