A story of finding yourself

This movie would definitely be interesting for those whose way of finding their path in life wasn't easy or they are still on it. Main heroine is struggling with quite a lot in her life: relationship with mom, friends, and mostly herself. This carousel of feelings and emotions will be familiar to many, despite their age or where they are from. Nevertheless movie gives a hope that a lot of obstacles eventually we can overcome and make them our unique life experience.For non-German speakers, the movie is available with English subtitles that to my own feeling sometimes were not exactly matching what was said.

This is an interesting German movie. Luca, the protagonist is facing exams for high school diploma. She tries to learn along with an older guy. She has a dog that cares dearly and uplifts her after years in which didn't feel good. The movie explores her relationships with various friends, some of which are slacking or weird. Also, the strenuous relation with her mother. We get to know her grandmother.All in all, it is an interesting development of character. And the movie is finally uplifting for those who pass a worse part in their lives. There are sparkling and funny moments. There are a few predictable moments (with the angry boyfriend) and the ending loses steam.
