Actually not bad for a Tubi thriller...

Without knowing what I was in for here, aside from "Dark Secrets" being a thriller, I opted to sit down and watch the movie solely because it was a movie that I hadn't already seen before.The storyline in "Dark Secrets", as written by Johnnard Harper and Anthony Leone, was actually fairly adequate. Sure, they didn't re-invent the wheel here or anything, but they accomplished what they set out to do, and that was pen together an enjoyable and entertaining script. One can definitely argue for parts of the narrative being generic and straight out of the how-to-write-an-adultery-themed-thriller-handbook, but it was still watchable though.Of the entire cast ensemble, I was only familiar with J. D. Laguerre. Yeah, I've seen enough questionable thrillers to be familiar with him. The acting performances in "Dark Secrets" were good.I was actually pleasantly surprised with this Tubi thriller, as it otherwise did initially strike me as just another run-of-the-mill cheesy thriller. But it was actually rather enjoyable and entertaining. While watchable, this is hardly a movie that warrants more than a single viewing.My rating of director Johnnard Harper's 2025 thriller "Dark Secrets" lands on a five out of ten stars.

Decent movie without that very ending part.

I would put a six out of ten for a decent movie, the acting is good until the very end of the movie. I don't want to put spoilers but how it ended was so unrealistic it made me question the sincerity of the movie, nobody jokes around after traumatic stuff like that. The acting is good but the writing needs work because of that. I would release without that very ending part if I was the director.

Very very good looking cast

Listen...i LOVE TUBI original movies. They're great...much like old Lifetime movies but darker story lines. I watch one any chance I can get away from my family. They are definitely my guilty little pleasure. Many times they are solid 7/8 of 10. Except this one. I honestly think I only made it to the end because the cast was so pretty and I dont even swing like that. So...there was a build up the entire movie that you knew 1 of the characters was gonna go crazy...and she did as most thrillers go. The way they ended it, however, I still dont know what the secret was. At all. Did they know eachother? How? What? No development into how the end happened even once in the story. If they did know eachother why would she invite her into her house? Why were the laughing and joking in the ambulance? Please help. Thank you.
