Middle of the road Lifetime effort

Not as good as some recent Lifetime productions that I've watched, but also not the worst.A group of friends on a girls trip have their fun cut short when one of their group dies. Just as the title would suggest. It seems everyone has a skeleton or two in their closet. Of course, this is Lifetime, after all.All in all, there's nothing really memorable in "Deadly Girls Trip" but there are worse ways to kill 90-odd minutes in front of the TV.

Pretty boring...

Right, well another thriller that I had never heard about prior to stumbling upon it by random chance here in 2026. And having just sat through some questionable thrillers, I have to admit that I wasn't exactly harboring the biggest of expectations to director Damián Romay's 2025 movie "Deadly Girls Trip". Yet, as it was a movie that I hadn't already seen, of course I opted to give it the benefit of the doubt.Writer Leo McGuigan didn't exactly write a particularly thrilling or entertaining script here. So it was a bit of a boring movie to sit through, as the narrative was sluggishly paced, and there wasn't really much of anything interesting happening throughout the snail-paced storytelling. Even for a Lifetime movie, this was a swing and a miss.Now, I was actually not familiar with a single actor or actress on the cast list, except for Alex Trumble, which certainly was something that spoke in favor of the movie. The acting performances in the movie were fair, despite the fact that the actors and actresses really didn't have much to work with.Hardly a movie that I would recommend anyone to track down and much less actually spend 87 minutes on watching. And most definitely not a movie that I will ever return to watch a second time.My rating of director Damián Romay's 2025 movie "Deadly Girls Trip" lands on a generous three out of ten stars.
