Plot summary

Alex Pearson has a lot to learn about teamwork. As the star of the Lemon Oaks hockey team, Alex almost always has his way on and off the ice. That is until he pulls a stunt so outrageous not even his own coach can give him a pass. His punishment? Suspension from the team, a never-ending list of chores and a job watching his little sister Emily after school.

The dad is terrible.

The dad is absent, and ignores both of his children. Honestly he just makes me super mad. Any character flaws in his children I feel are directly linked to a complete and total lack of parenting or any sort of adult direction. I thought it was supposed to be a comedy but all I felt was sad. What could have been a heartwarming story is lost in the total lack of family. Somehow Alex is expected to be a mother to his sister and a gardener and a mechanic. When he shirks his duties it's no surprise because that is exactly what his dad does. His dad acts like because he works he doesn't have any other responsibilities to his children.

Very good...

Sam Cahill has it all under control: a successful military career, a beautiful wife and two daughters. His younger brother is a bum who lives on the edge of the law. When Sam is deployed to Afghanistan on a UN mission, the harmony between the two brothers changes forever. Sam disappears and his wife is comforted by her brother who, despite everything, shows that he is capable of taking responsibility for himself and the family. When Sam returns home, traumatized by being held captive in the mountains of Afghanistan, nothing is the same.Let's marathon another Disney children's movie.... Hey guys, and he already won my heart with the cute relationship between the older brother and the little one, all bashful, reminds me so much of my goddaughter...
