Plot summary

Portrays Women As Incapable

Spoiler alert!The Church Girl: There was a girl in the movie was labelled as "Jesus' girl", lets caller her Lady A. She went through a lot of pain due to her proxy relationship with "Otunba", probably because he was friends with her father. When the father died, "Otunba" through his influence was able to possess Lady A's father's property. On Lady A's quest for justice, she confronted "Otunba" and he ended up raping her! Then she went to the location of her father's property, and observed it was being demolished. Literally, her confrontation of "Otunba" was a waste and she also lost her dignity/self-esteem. While all this was happening, her mother was dying in her hospital bed. Lady A informed her mother of some of her ordeal, especially losing her father's property, this eventually led to her mother's untimely death.The Intelligent Girls: Stay with me, I will show you the link between Lady A's role and the other two girls who I would refer to as Lady H and Lady N. A brief profile description about both ladies - Lady H is a journalist who was trained in one of the best schools in the world; Lady N is ex-military, she brave and courageous. Like Lady A, Lady H and Lady N were also "Otunba's" rape victims. Lady H has been in that position for over a decade, she recently became vocal about some of the atrocities "Otunba" has committed (excluding the elephant in the room) because he was running for the highest political position in the region.The three girls meet due to their unfortunate shared experience with "Otunba". Now this is where I lost interest in the movie. They were all brainstorming on how to bring to justice their oppressor, who has caused much pain to their lives. The energy coming from Lady A was in no way proportional to her experience, as she shut down suggestion of the others and came up with no meaningful idea(s). At some point she was about to turn her back and walk away from the whole idea of finding justice. Lady H had a suggestion, but the others were not willing to proceed with it, so they reached a stalemate.One of the ladies said, "we need a warrior" and another said, "I know someone". After this scene, I stopped watching the entire movie. The warrior that was going to rescue them from their oppressor who has caused much pain to their lives was a man. You might say it is fiction, but it is on a video streaming platform that is watched by millions of people. It is quiet appalling that the production team would create such story portraying women to be incapable of solving their problems without the intervention of a man. And shame of Amazon Prime for putting up such baloney!Excuse any brevity, or grammar error. I wrote without proofreading. It's still making me angry.

Great movie

The movie makes you feel every emotion which is a great marker for a great movie. It made me laugh, cry and filled with suspense on what will happen next. The production of the movie is A1 and the cast did a great job in portraying their characters. I enjoyed every second of it.10/10.
