Not really my cup of tea...

I virtually had no idea what I was in for here, as i sat down to watch the 2025 thriller "Dinner to Die For". But since it was a movie that I hadn't already seen, of course I opted to check it out and give it a fair chance.Writers Orr Koren, Cameron Scott and Diana Mills Smith put together a script that sort of was a swing and a miss for me. I wasn't particularly entertained by the storyline here, and have to admit that my attention on the screen was waning as the movie trotted on.I actually don't think that I was familiar with a single actor or actress on the cast list, which was something that spoke in favor of the movie. Yeah, I do actually enjoy watching new and unfamiliar talents on the screen. The acting performances were good, despite the fact that the script failed to entertain me.There are some fair enough effects in the movie, though it is not a movie that casually throws special effects left and right.If you enjoy thrillers that deviate from most other thrillers, then perhaps give this movie a chance. It might just happen that you will enjoy it far more than I did as a casual viewer.My rating of director Diana Mills Smith's 2025 movie "Dinner to Die For" lands on a generous four out of ten stars.

Nicely Done Mystery

Went into this one blind thinking it wad a slasher movoe, boy was i mistaken. Its a nicely done and clever mystery.Actres Shamilla Miller was incredible in the lead role so I definitely am looking forward to seeing her in more movies.This one perfectly blends slow burn and uncertainty together with one killer payoff in the end.Definitely recommend this one!
