Humor and Love Mixed with delicious food

Not your average RomCom

Be advised there is food porn throughout this movie so be ready with snacks!You know what you're getting with these kinds of stories--that's part of the fun of watching them. However, I was also sometimes surprised by the breaks in formula that made it more unique. The camera work and sound is definitely a cut above what you'd expect from this genre. It has pathos: the perfectionist dreamer who has pursued what she always wanted (a chef with her own restaurant) only to find that there is something missing...a relatable dilemma. She finds herself in a competition against a diner run by an easy going cook--who is of course, hot.The cast has a great vibe. Ali Durham brings vulnerability and authenticity to her role and the chemistry between the protagonists makes this a satisfying watch. And just like any good meal, this movie ends with something very sweet.Definitely a good one to snuggle on the couch with.

Very cute, made me laugh, looks tasty

I liked the mayor character best. His whole arc made me laugh. Also the random kid who danced before biking away. It's quirky in a way that makes me laugh. HahaOverall a cute romcom. It's funny, and the food looks good. It's a classic tale of enemy to lovers but with a cooking twist. I'd recommend this video to those with a love of to come.
