Confusing

Do I Know You from Somewhere? Had the bones of an interesting idea, but the execution completely lost me. The premise itself, which revolves around memory, identity, and the unsettling feeling of familiarity with a stranger, had potential to be thoughtful and suspenseful. Unfortunately, the way the story unfolds makes it difficult to follow and even harder to stay invested in. The narrative jumps around without clear direction, and instead of building intrigue, it creates confusion.The acting also doesn't help elevate the material. Performances feel stiff and unnatural at times, which makes it harder to connect emotionally with the characters. When a film relies heavily on subtle tension and psychological nuance, strong acting is crucial - and here it just doesn't land. The editing adds to the problem. Scenes feel choppy, transitions are abrupt, and the pacing drags in places while rushing through others. Rather than creating mystery, it feels disjointed.What frustrated me most is that I had to look up explanations afterward just to understand what the story was trying to say. A film can be ambiguous or layered without being incomprehensible, but this one crosses that line. I spent most of the runtime confused rather than intrigued. Overall, while the concept had promise, the poor execution, confusing storytelling, and uneven performances made it a disappointing watch.
