The biggest thing is that I've got to say about this book, but I feel like the film is a little bit too dramatized. All cringe aside (which is the whole point of any film within the musical genre), That could simply just be a me thing, but movie musicals are generally a me thing with my childhood. I completely understand why it could be generally cringe to some people, but that's the whole point behind the movie musical. Otherwise, simply give the film a shoot prior to actually critiquing the film generally speaking. It may have been perfection, but I'm completely okay with it being not entirely perfection. What do you expect of a movie musical?

I really wanted to like this, but it was so cheesy at sometimes, that I had to fast forward. I enjoyed the dancing and singing, but it has a hard time shining against things like Pitch Perfect or Into The Woods.
