Plot summary

Absolutely loved it

I seen this when it first came out as a vertical and fell in love with the story. At the time it really was a different and refreshing story especially coming from a ton of verticals doing the exact same stories with minimal changes.Dungeons of Ecstasy was such an amazing story and break from the rest then found out it was (or i think it was) the first to be filmed in both vertical but horizontal formatting and I was so excited to see it in its horizontal formatting and see how they really differ.It did not disappoint yet again. There were some slight changes to the shots and angles of shooting scenes and some changes to inner monolog that we dont hear like Lucians first inner thoughts when seeing Emily in the dungeon and the pool scene changed quite a bit between angles and even Lucians zone out scene was different. The filming was smooth unlike the vertical with its bunch of episodes so that was nice.This production was already amazing with everything the location, the wardrobe and appearance the dialog and story. Everything was and still is amazing. I hope they do a second one. This was set up perfectly to do a sequel and i would hate for them to miss out on bringing Eric, Nicole and Felix back to reprise their roles. There is more to this story that we could learn.

Take a Journey into the Dungeons of Ecstasy

I first watched Dungeons of Ecstasy as a vertical and absolutely loved it, but watching this full version blows it out of the water. The scenery shots are magnificent.Set against a stunning backdrop of a castle in Italy, it has light BDSM and talk of sex trafficking creating an interesting narrative. Eric Guilmette, as Lucian/Luke plays his part perfectly; first cold and masterful, then melts away that exterior when Emily (Nicole Mattox) is held captive by Lucian. Who is being held captive by whom? Nicole plays her part with emotion, from being broken by Luke, and with bravery, fighting for herself. Felix Merback plays Jonah first as the good guy who befriends Emily until circumstances change. Dungeons of Ecstasy was mysterious and suspenseful, with unanswered questions hopefully leaving open possibilities for a Part 2!
