characters become too dumb

Jack (Madison Ryne Smith) is bringing girlfriend Olivia Clark (Erin Boyes) for a surprise first time meet with his mother Amanda Finley (Sarah-Jane Redmond). They are getting married. Amanda is not having it and suspects that she's after their money.This is Lifetime. There are one surprising turn. The PI is a silly stereotype. Nobody uses a camera any more. Just use your phone. When the thing happens to Olivia, the story starts to falter. It seems obvious that people should talk to each other at that point especially with the cops involved. The mother should do something more. Jack should do more. The people are just not being smart. Everybody is keeping secrets. I really don't like dumb characters.

Not what reviewers think

Watched the movie. It was not as bad as people claim it to be. Summer saying this is predictable and they knew the ending right from the beginning that's baloney. No they did not because it takes a turn. So interestingly enough all these people claim oh no this is another one of those lifetime made for TV movies. Of course it is. That's what it claims to be. It doesn't claim to be a 10 star movie theater release. It's just entertainment. What is wrong with these people? These are the same people will sit there and play stupid ass games on their computers all day and think that's entertainment, they always complain about certain actors or actresses acting ability even though I'm guessing there is far better than the people reviewing them. These armchair reviewers are just proving how ridiculous they are sitting down and writing a review of a movie TV version or big screen version says a lot about society today.. these are the same people that feel that their opinion is the most important one when it's more than likely the least.

Not great.

This is not a very good story. It was predictable and the directing was non existent. Why have two characters sit in front of a big plate of food and not eat any of it and drink from two cups that are obviously empty.The fiancée is worried about someone getting into her apartment but she opens her door wide when there is a knock on the door and then goes back inside and leaves the door open. Who would do that?I don't know what to think about the directing in movies these days. The actors do things in movies that they would never do in real life. Why don't the directors catch these things and fix them?
