The choice of lead actor is wrong

The film tells an intriguing story befitting Zeki Demirkubuz. It's a story of jealousy. However, it has some shortcomings. Its biggest flaw is its budget. Due to its low budget, outdoor scenes were kept to a minimum and failed to serve the story. In this regard, The Butterfly's Dream, set in Zonguldak during a similar period, was much better. This film's story is stronger and deeper, but unfortunately, it is hampered by the budget. Another shortcoming is the choice of lead actress. Nergis Ozturk is a good actress and performed very well. However, the most important characteristic of the character is that she is ugly. Nergis Ozturk is not ugly. Perhaps more advanced plastic makeup could have been used. Or a very different actress should have been chosen. She really should have been ugly.
