The Monster That Is Epica Comes Out On This Live Album!

I can't tell you how many times I've listened to and watched this live concert. It is an absolute Symphonic Metal masterpiece! It doesn't get much better than this! Epica knows how to keep you banging your head until the very end!Simone's vocals combined with Mark's and the choir is beautifully done.The bands playing is flawless. Every note and song takes you on a journey to another world and you're just fully immersed in it.I really love this band. The only thing missing, in my opinion their best song, is Universal Death Squad! I honestly think adding that song would have pulled this entire performance together 100%. Regardless, this is amazing.

A great surprise!

To my opinion, this is probably one of their best effort since their first two albums, which were masterpieces.They blend well their different styles, the show is visually energetic, emotional and original. A lot of efforts went into the visual concept. Some chorus are too commercially oriented for my taste, but that's my own opinion... I appreciate the fact that Mark and Simone bring different vocal moods and they exchange well between the both of them. Great concert, great musicianship, Simone is always on top of her game... can't wait to see you live again...I have been following you since your first album. Thanks!!
