Bad acting at the core

Brutally dull...

Needless to say that I had indeed, of course, never even heard about this 2025 thriller titled "Fan of Mine", from writer and director Jezar Riches. So I virtually had no idea what I was in for here, aside from knowing it was a thriller and the little information shared by the movie's synopsis.The storyline and script was somewhat hindered by a rather sluggishly paced and slow narrative. I can't really claim that writer Jezar Riches delivered a particularly riveting, enjoyable or entertaining script here.The acting performances in "Fan of Mine" were fair. I was not familiar with a single actor or actress on the cast list. Not that it was a bad thing, not at all. I do enjoy watching new and unfamiliar talents on the screen when I sit down to watch a movie.For a thriller, then "Fan of Mine" was a swing and a miss. It was a snoozefest and a drama, not a thriller. If you enjoy thrillers, then I would definitely not suggest you to squander 101 minutes on watching this particular movie, as there are far better and way more enjoyable movies out there, not to mention thrillers that actually are, oh you know, say actually thrillers.My rating of writer and director Jezar Riches's 2025 movie "Fan of Mine" lands on a generous three out of ten stars.
