Essential Story Everyone Should See

Finding Oscar is more than a documentary. It is a reckoning. It confronts the brutality of Guatemala's civil war and how the Reagen administration fueled it, weaving together history, investigation, and humanity in one unforgettable story. What makes it especially relevant today is how familiar its themes feel. Government deception, demonization of the vulnerable, and the moral collapse that follows when power goes virtually unchecked. Watching Finding Oscar in the current political climate, where truth is twisted and accountability is dismissed, feels like both a warning but also a wake-up call.Everyone should see this film. It's not just about Guatemala. It's about what happens when nations choose amnesia over honesty, and propaganda over compassion.

Outstanding Documentary

Not having any knowledge of this massacre, it was moving and surprising. The ending was not seen coming and had us in happy tears. Glad we learned about and watched it.
