Great weird movie

Just watched this and I thought it was a blast. It was absurdist and funny, and entertaining from beginning to end. I thought the ending was great, with satisfying conclusions to each character's arc. Nobody could ever call this predictable!Looking at the reviews here, I see it is not for everyone, but then I see a lot of people giving great reviews to movies that i think are garbage. If you want to watch a bizarre movie that is very well shot and well acted, with several laughs along the way, Fingers is definitely worth checking out.

This is a movie that has some good performances and comedy but falls short of its potential

Fingers (2019) is a movie that I recently watched on Shudder. The storyline follows Amanda who is going through some things and works in a small office. When someone tells her a colleague is missing a finger she gets creeped out. A few days later she is informed that the same colleague has lost another finger and she gets really creeped out. She has a phobia of malformed people and decides to try an overcome it by investigating her colleague and gets caught up in a set of unfortunate circumstances.This movie is directed by Juan Ortiz (Jennifer Help Us) and stars Michael St. Michaels (The Greasy Strangler), Jeremy Gardner (Christmas Bloody Christmas) and Taylor Zaudtke (After Midnight).This is a very uneven pictures that could have been much better, especially with this caliber of cast. Michael St. Michaels is outstanding in this picture and every scene he's in is hilarious. He makes the movie a must see. There is a good infusion of comedy in here, the scene with the psychologist is funny and the play is wild. The execution of various circumstances are lacking which is too bad because there's often great buildup but the scene falls flat. There's a thumb scene that could have been better executed that was a bit disappointing but the ending by St. Michaels was perfect.Overall, this is a movie that has some good performances and comedy but falls short of its potential. I would score this a 4.5-5/10 but recommend seeing it once.
