Dream on . . .

As adults we might forget how imagination and reality once overlapped. Here Kemar and his mate dream of reaching the stars, or at least the Moon: "The closest I can get to heaven". Though relevant, the real reason for his flight (of fancy) is merely accessory to the rife imagination of both kids, a yearning which, once explained, ultimately engages the father too, who rediscovers the thrill of fantasy, his own and that of his child, as a way of dealing with loss.Simple but very rewarding, excellent camerawork and editing, lean script, a brief and welcome dip into another reality, and a sore reminder of what we lose growing up.

Best 13 minutes on the internet.

Very short, but packed with emotion. Don't try to read about what this short film is about, just watch it. You won't regret it.
