A good enough example of what the found footage genre can still offer! [+60%]

This FF mockumentary has such a zany energy to it, with the meta humour working greatly in its favour. It isn't One Cut of the Dead nor is it trying to be, but the amount of nonsense that gets passed off as ordinary on a low-budget horror movie set is somehow naturally funny. I think the humour-to-horror ratio is 65:35, so while there are some decently staged scares, there's nothing particularly outstanding about the horror elements. That shouldn't stop you from checking this out, as this is a fine specimen of doing something fresh and inventive within the saturated FF genre. The cast lean into the wackiness of the material so well, making it an enjoyable experience. I loved the "Alan Rickman" meeting scene; it probably offers the best laughs in the entire film. Also, heads up: if you're sitting down for a typical FF horror, that only comes around during the final 10 minutes.P. S. "Quenton Tarantini" had me in splits for a whole damn minute!P. P. S Even more enjoyable with alcohol and horror movie pals!

Were they really this clueless? This was hard to judge.Easily the silliest movie I watched all the way through in, probably ever.Won't watch it again, but I liked it a lot for a one and done deal.Funny, sometimes I'd swear accidentally funny, but the production was just good enough to make me think perhaps they MEANT to be that ridiculous.By the end I have to say, I believe.I'd recommend it for fans of horror, and even more for fans of whacky comedy. If you like both genres, well this is both, so. No brainer. Really.

Please no. Just don't watch this.

I enjoy sitting down and watching low budget movies, specifically of the found footage genre. Most of the time I understand they are going to be bad but sometimes you find a jewel. Then again, sometimes you find this kind of abomination. It was neither scary, nor funny. The first twenty or so minutes was gruelingly difficult to watch with what I have to presume was purposely bad acting...and it went down hil from there .About halfway through I thought this might be a comedy of the vein of "A MIGHTY WIND" but no. It was just bad. From the script, to the acting, to the...well...I can't think of anything really redeeming about this waste of cellophane. This film is proof that paradise can be worse than the thing they are mocking.
