Plot summary

Determined to disrupt the wedding of his ex-girlfriend by bankrupting her family, underachieving, wanna-be rapper Vinny and his neighborhood pals concoct a plan to steal her family’s jewels from a supermarket safe.

BETTER THAN MOST FILMS.

This was fun film and i enjoyed a lot. The basic plot was simple and the characters are very good so if you are an indian or especially immigrant then you will understand and feel relatable to the film very much.This WES ANDERSON inspired film has good writing and comedy was good , the performances of the cast was great but it misses a humour lighly, but still it was better film which represented indian culture in america. The indian culture was very poorly represented in the most hollywood productions which includes typical characters, paradied bollywood movies in a bad serial vibe, and using the rare outdated instruments in music but this film makes some good changes and done a super job.I love the score which was decent and cinematography was good . The makers know what they are doing and they done a fantastic job. It was a fresh take on indian culture in movies .

Get me a life

Vinny (Venk Potula) wants to be a rapper, but he is shy and sucks at it. He lives in an Indian community in America Samoa. He hangs out with his friend Zak (Nirvan Patnaik). Anjali (Sharmita Bhattacharya) likes Zak and always seem to show up where he is at. There is a big cultural show event in the community was we discover Rina's engagement is going to be announced. Vinny is devastated as he dated Rina for two years and they broke up three years ago as everyone reminds him to move on. She did. He heard that Rina's father has illegal "dirty diamonds" in his store safe which are for Rina's wedding. Vinny gets an idea to steal them to redistribute the wealth. Him has three friends devise a plan.The film was humorous. It makes fun of the Bollywood style of pictures as we see the people in India being able to laugh at themselves.Guide: No swearing (other than motherlover) sex, or nudity.
