Plot summary

Perpetually single Frankie decides to give up on men in favor of going all-in as a “dog mom" to her adopted dog, Tucker. But sparks fly when Frankie meets Jack, the veterinarian who rescues her dog from near death. They seem destined to be together, but there's one problem: Jack is already engaged.

Just OK

I was a little bit into the story and actually enjoying it. Joey's acting ability really isn't too far off and he delivers a pretty good performance here. Good supporting cast, especially in his best friend Boner.I like this one because it doesn't follow the typical romcom formula. Well, it kinda does, but it's a little refreshing in that respect. Joey of course, is very easy on the eyes and that certainly helps.Now here's the part I don't understand. What is the need for all the nepotism Joey? Everything I see him in lately seems to be a family affair and I don't understand that I guess. Stop doing that please.

Wish I could rate higher...

I had a few issues with this movie. #1 you can clearly see the age difference between Joey and his fiancé but yet they claim to have gone to school together? #What was up with Andy Lawrence and that horrid accent? It was very cringe to watch and hear. #3 I'm not sure if it was bad acting (and I hate to say this because I'm a Joey fan) but I was not buying he was a doctor. I feel like he was trying to play a much younger character and I would have much liked for him to act his age for the part of a doctor. I mean don't get me wrong he looks great just not 25. #4 it was very similar to "The Wedding Planner" - not very original. #5 the fiancé Stacy falling asleep did not going with the movie. It felt too cartoonish and not funny. I was so disappointed because I was really hoping to love the movie.
